Today, Many Parts Ministries is excited to announce the launch of new training programs aimed at equipping individuals and organizations to identify, nurture, and utilize charisms within their communities.
Charisms for Coaches: Enhancing Professional Coaching with Charism Discernment
In response to the increasing demand for integrating charism discernment into coaching practices, Many Parts Ministries introduced the Charisms for Coaches program. This specialized training is designed for professional coaches who seek to incorporate charism discernment into their coaching work at an advanced level. The program will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of charisms and guide them through a 3-session model to help their clients in their discernment journey. By enrolling in this program, professional coaches will gain access to valuable resources, tools, and support to enrich their coaching practices and better serve their clients.
Empowering Volunteers through Charism Discernment Assessment Training
Acknowledging the importance of extending charism discernment beyond professional coaching settings, Many Parts Ministries introduces the Volunteer Charism Discernment Assessment Training program. Hello, and welcome to Charisms for Catholics. My name is Jill Simons, and I’m the executive director at Many Parts Ministries where we equip the Body of Christ by helping people learn about and discern their charisms, which is really another word for spiritual gifts. When you discern your charisms, you’re are able to see how the Holy Spirit is already active in your life and where he is inviting you to further build the Church. Let’s dive in. Hello, my friends. Today, it’s time for another episode of Charisms for Catholics. This time, it’s gonna be a little bit different. This is gonna be less of an informative, this is what we want to help you understand about charisms and more about, some of the resources that we have available newly available to help you move forward in your discernment journey, whether that’s as an individual or as part of an organization.
Jill Simons:
So in, early January, we just wrapped our first cohort of our Charisms for Coaches program. This was a training program that taught professional coaches how to incorporate charism discernment in an extended manner in their coaching program. And we are going to be launching another cohort have that here at the end of February. So you have this entire month of February to be able to enroll in a new cohort of that for professional coaches, but this time we are also adding another version of the program that is volunteer, charism, discernment assessment training. So it’s a big name. We’re gonna go into it, everything that entails, and what you have to do to get involved. So, first of all, just a general overview of what our coach program looks like. You happen to be a professional coach or interested in a more elite level of training, we would love to invite you to be a part of are cohort of coaches starting here at the end of February.
Jill Simons:
This cohort is going to walk through all of the basic understanding of charisms and what it looks like to really know them inside and out while also being able to walk through a three session model with a client to help them in their cares and discernment. And that’s going to include a post assess, or a pre assessment session, a post assessment session, and a commitment session where we’re walking people through kind of these three different stages of discernment. There’s a lot of great resources for you in that program. Worksheets, questions, all kinds the things that you can use as a coach to just add this to your list of offerings. A lot of different professional coaches, whether it’s you know, coaching for careers coach, life coaches, some kind of spiritual direction, anything like that. This is another tool that you can add enter your arsenal. Some people are certified in strength finders or DISC or Myers Briggs or something like that. And, obviously, though, charisms is not just that same kind of natural thing, it is another tool that you can add to your toolbox to be able to better serve your clients.
Jill Simons:
So if you are a professional coach or another service professional who would like to add this to your arsenal, we invite you to click the link in the description to learn all about that program. That is going to be our greatest, high touch program. You’re gonna be working directly with me on a regular basis, having classes, and being able to learn at a really high level. We also, for the very first time ever, we’ve never done this before, are going to be launching a volunteer charism accompaniment training course. This is something where we are going to offer it exclusively to people who are not going to charge for their who simply want to volunteer in their own local community to teach people about charisms and walk with them through discernment. We cannot accompany at a high touch level every single American Catholic. It’s not possible. Doesn’t matter how big we grow, doesn’t matter how many people we have working for us.
Jill Simons:
It is not possible for us to be everywhere all at once, but it is possible for you to be everywhere all at once. Not you personally, but everybody listening right now. We have people in thousands of communities across America and across the world listening to this episode right now. And if you have been really set on fire by this idea of charisms and are really hungry to help other people discern, earn, we want to empower you to do that. We are offering this program at the lowest cost that we’re able to with just covering so that you are able to learn for yourself how to walk with other people through the discernment process, and then we also will offer you a simple certification at the end of the program once we have confirmed that you’ve completed all the modules to be able that you can then share with your parish. We, our vision, our big dreams aims for this program is to have at least one person in every parish starting in North America but eventually the world, that is certified to be able to walk with people 1-on-1 through charisms and discernment. This doesn’t make you a spiritual director. This doesn’t make you a counselor.
Jill Simons:
This doesn’t make you a clergy member, anything like that. This simply certifies you to walk through charism discernment with your peers. We ask that you never charge for these services and that this remains as a volunteer basis so that this is something that we can offer in more and more places all over the country. If you are planning to charge for your services, then, you do need to enroll in the Charisms for coaches program that will empower you to do that and have all of the access to the things that you need to be able to do that fight effectively at a high professional level. But if you are somebody working in a parish listening to this right now, if you are simply a ministries volunteer and this is of interest to you. I really really want you to check this out because this is ultimately gonna be the way that we are able to spread this mission, this ministry, this love for charisms like wildfire across the world, being able to have individuals walk with their peers is going to be a game changer for people discerning all over the world, and I could not be more excited about it. I have a huge passion for the 1-on-1 process. But right now in the last year, I’ve had almost 10,000 people seeking the 1-on-1 process, and that is very overwhelming to me as an individual, I definitely want helpers.
Jill Simons:
I definitely want coworkers in this vineyard seeking to really unwrap the presence of the Holy Spirit alongside those people seeking to really hear his voice and see what he’s doing in their own lives. So I’m very, very excited about this program. I really encourage parishes to be able to bankroll spots for parishioners if possible. But as I said, it is not a very expensive program on purpose so that this is something that people are able to give as part of their tithe actually to their parish. Something that where they can give of their time, give of their resources to be able to invest in what the Holy Spirit is doing in their community. Because ultimately, there is gonna be a ton of beautiful fruit for that. And we are going to be constantly creating more new resources for our volunteer leaders to be able to use within parishes to continue to spread just the joy of charisms throughout the Catholic world. As I said, coaches is for those that want to charge for their services and who are are looking for that really, like, high touch experience with me, whereas, the Charisms for Volunteers is gonna go through in a cohort together, have a forum that they’re able to collaborate, but there’s not going to be the same level of high touch, though you will have access to ask questions of myself and our other staff members who are going to ultimately walk with you on your journey.
